Taylor Swift became famous as a performer and song writer in the early part of 2001 when she began sharing her stories of love and loss. Swift's interest in music began when she was a young age. From plays for children to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. In 2011, Swift at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the year following, she began to write her own music. Swift got the inspiration to create her own music by country music artists category, like Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at the age of 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. This enabled Swift to devote more time courting labels for the country genre in Nashville.
